How does your past experience help you in your job?

I have served in various roles as an external consultant and employee, helping professional services firms strategically grow their business. Throughout my career, I have seen first-hand how world-class organizations approach strategic growth and business development, and I have had the good fortune to work with some of the most innovative and experienced people in their respective fields. This wide range of experience helps me see challenges from different perspectives and develop a customized approach for each firm and lawyer that I work with.

Describe a unique moment in your career.

Early in my career, I was tasked by Deloitte’s global leadership group to help develop globally integrated client service teams. I worked with senior leaders in multiple countries to organize meetings and create presentations to partners about the strategy and what was expected of them. It was exciting to contribute to strategy at such a high level, and the experience remains one of the highlights of my career.

Give an example of someone whose career path you changed.

I once worked with a local partner in Stockholm who was aiming to attain a senior level leadership role at his top 5 global law firm. Together we devised a client development strategy for his practice group that saw revenue grow year over year, which ultimately led to this partner being elected Global Chair of that practice.
